Our aim is threefold:
- Divert items from entering the landfill
- Educate Barbadians about the circular economy & the joy of thrifting i.e. conserve previously loved items and give them a chance to be re-loved
- Protect the vulnerable in our society by the philanthropy of customers
ABOUT US
In 2020, Donation Nation Charity Shop was born to provide a location for Barbados to embrace the circular economy. A Charity Shop with a difference. We accept donations of clean household items in saleable condition, with the intent of giving back to charities in Barbados, including the Future Centre Trust.
All of your donations are sorted, priced and barcoded for resale. When an item is sold, 33% of the proceeds is donated to our list of local charities. The percentage of proceeds is divided between all charities and the remaining balance goes towards running Donation Nation, a Future Centre Trust initiative.

Cash preferred, we accept Debit and Credit cards. (a donation to cover bank costs is gratefully accepted)
